04 — Scope of Work

Hydrojet Cut & Cap Methodology

No flame. No hot work. Controlled sub-grade cut, vented cap, and a restored surface on every well.

Scope Summary

Hydrojet cut and cap on 135 orphan wells belonging to Orphan Well Association (Revitalize Energy Inc.) in the Lloydminster field. Each well includes removal and disposal of the wellhead, installation of the vented cap, and backfill of the excavation — quoted as a single all-in rate. Execution starts mid-September 2026 with a second round in mid-February to March 2027.

Hydrojet Cutting

High-pressure water-abrasive cutting on the wellhead — eliminates ignition risk entirely. Clean kerf, repeatable depth, no heat-affected zone, and minimal to no ground disturbance required.

Vented Cap Installation

Vented cap supplied and installed to regulatory standard immediately following the cut, with photo documentation and cap details recorded per well for the OWA file.

Wellhead Removal & Disposal

All cut wellheads loaded, manifested, and hauled off location for disposal — included in the all-in well rate, with the dump trailer available as an as-required line item.

Backfill & Restoration

Excavation backfilled and compacted with the rubber-tire backhoe before the crew leaves location. Surface left tidy for the reclamation program that follows.

Key Findings
  • Non-conductor performance remained stable and improved slightly over the three periods.
  • All 61 non-conductor wells were successfully completed on the first cut.
  • Only four conductor wells were found — all 16-inch single conductors.
  • Two 2025–26 conductor jobs required second attempts, lifting average total cutting effort to 81.3 minutes (28.3 minutes average first cut).
  • No double-conductor barrels or other conductor sizes were recorded within the radius.
  • June–August 2026 excluded — an incomplete June–May period.

Fuel Surcharge

No fuel surcharge applied. Rates are quoted all-in, consistent with OWA's request to remove surcharges.

Site Condition Assumptions

Sites are prepped and accessible ahead of the crew — any line locates or ground disturbances permits are in place, and lease access maintained for equipment and crew.

Worktime Hours

IWA requires a minimum of 10 hours of productive field time. With travel to the first site and the last site outside of the 10-hour working time.

No Overtime

No overtime is applicable for this project. The standard day is based on daylight operating hours; hours beyond the standard day are not billed at an overtime rate.

2nd Crew (Optional)

Pricing assumes one cut-and-cap truck/crew at start-up. A second crew is available with a couple days' notice if the schedule requires acceleration.

Standby & Weather

Standby applies for client-caused delays, wet or frozen access, and regulatory holds outside our control, billed hourly per crew.
